New figures suggest you are more likely to pass your driving test in Ennis and Kilrush than in Shannon.
The Road safety Authority has published statistics for 2016 which show that Clare’s County Townn had the highest pass rate of any driving centre in the country last year.

73% of those who sat the test in Ennis passed, while in Kilrush the figure was also well above the national average as two-thirds of drivers passed their tests.
In Shannon, however, the pass rate was just over 50% – that’s the seventh-lowest figure of the 51 centres throughout the country.
