Ennis Insurer Fears Commercial Insurance Will Continue To Spiral

An Ennis insurer is expressing concern that commercial insurance premium costs will continue to spiral out of control.

It follows comments made by former High Court president Nicholas Kearns, who says fraudulent claims are costing jobs, where SMEs are forced to pay out to claimants.

Mr Justice Kearns headed up the Personal Injuries Commission, which found that awards for minor injuries in this country are almost five times those paid in England.
