There were long traffic delays in Ennis Town Centre last night, following two separate collisions.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a car driving erratically around the time of these incidents which occurred just before 8 o'clock last night.
It's understood that cars were struck at both the Mill Road and by the Cathedral, with a number of people were inside a car that was hit in the second crash.
No one was seriously injured and it's reported that a man was later apprehended by Gardaí.
The incident comes after a weekend in which there were a number of accidents on Clare's roads.
On Friday night, a teenage boy was airlifted to hospital in Cork after he was struck by a car whilst out cycling between Sixmilebridge and Cratloe.
While a man in his 30s remains in a serious condition in hospital after he was injured in a single car accident on the Limerick-Clare border at Shannon Banks on Saturday night.
