Ennis Hotelier Predicts Town Will Look “Extremely Well” Following Works

A long-time hotelier in Ennis predicts the town will look “extremely well” once the public realm works have concluded, but admits they’re discommoding businesses.

Business owners haven’t been shy in expressing their discontent with the speed at which the enhancements are moving, with various arteries of the town closed off at present.

The project is being delivered in phases in order to “minimise disruption” to business activity and traffic flow.

Owner of the Old Ground Hotel Allen Flynn insists the town has a lot to offer and the works will only make it more attractive.

The Waterford native has also put rumours to rest regarding the potential closure of the hotel.
