An Ennis hotel is to be used as a vaccination centre by the HSE.
Treacy’s West County Hotel is expected to become one of the facilities for administering the COVID-19 jab in the Midwest region.
The HSE plans to open 40 vaccination centres across the country over the coming weeks, with one million doses scheduled to arrive every month from May onwards.

The Radisson Blu Hotel near Meelick is also being examined by HSE Officials this week in preparation for becoming a mass vaccination centre.
No firm timeline is in place for the opening of the centres.
