One house on the Gort Road in Ennis will shine bright again this Christmas, with the help of local businesses.
For the past seven years, Gerry Keane has transformed his home at Ashfield Park into a festive visual spectacle, all in aid of charity, with organisations such as Cahercalla Hospice and Elevate among the beneficiaries in the past.

This year all funds raised will be going towards the Samaritans, with the Christmas light display being switched on from 6pm on December 2nd and running until January 6th.
In the past, Gerry has covered the cost of electricity himself, but this year he’s had to reach out for help due to rising costs and he says a number of local businesses came to his aid.
