The Ennis headquartered FASD Ireland is gearing up to host its annual conference.
Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder effects roughly one in twelve people and occurs when parental exposure to alcohol affects the developing brain and body of children in the womb.

The organisation is hoping to spread awareness and support options at its inaugural conference in Hotel Woodstock on May 22nd which will be attended by researchers and renowned FASD specialists.
FASD Ireland CEO Tristan Casson-Rennie says the conference will appeal to a broad range of people.
