Ennis Haulier Says Drivers Fearful Of “Gangsters and Criminality” In Human Trafficking From Europe

An Ennis haulier says drivers are fearful of “gangsters and criminality” in human trafficking from mainland Europe.

It comes as the Gardaí have confirmed an international Human Trafficking investigation is underway, after 14 migrants were found in a refrigerated container at Rosslare Europort that arrived from Zeebrugge in Belgium.

The 12 adults and 2 children are currently being processed at Citywest in Dublin and the Taoiseach has said they can apply for asylum or be helped to leave the country.
