An Ennis haulier’s renewing calls for a review into supports being provided to businesses to combat energy costs.
The Temporary Business Energy Support Scheme, which allows qualifying businesses to claim 40% of the increases in their energy bills, is set to be re-examined next month.

While a separate support scheme for hauliers was extended just before Christmas, the Clare-based President of the Irish Road Haulage Association says further supports may be needed throughout the year.
