Clare’s County Town will find out today whether it will be named as Ireland’s best tourism town.

Ennis is the only Clare nominee for the top accolade at the 2013 Fáilte Ireland Tourism Towns awards, which take place in Dublin this lunchtime.
It goes up against nine others – Cobh in Cork, Drogheda in Co. Louth, Kenmare and Tralee in Kerry, Kilkenny Town and Letterkenny in Co. Donegal along with Mulranny, Murrisk and Westport in County Mayo.
