An Ennis-based financial advisor is calling for sanctions on banks if deposit rates are not passed on to savers.
It comes as plans are in preparation to summon representatives of the banking industry before the Oireachtas Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform.

In addition, the bank levy is also set to be extended as part of Budget 2024.
