Ennis FG Councillor Calls For Government Emphasis On Jobs Outside Of Dublin

The Mayor of Ennis insists a strong showing is required of the new government, in terms of job creation in regions outside of Dublin.

Johnny Flynn is commenting in light of the CSO’s latest live register figures which show that, as of the end of January, there are now 4,760 people signing on in this county.

That’s a marginal rise of 21 across the past month but a drop of 285 in the space of a year, while it’s over 6,000 less than the peak in 2011.
