The HSE has played down suggestions that robberies are common at the region’s main maternity hospital.

Health officials have told Clare FM they have received reports of only two thefts at Limerick’s University Maternity Hospital in the last three months.
It comes after Ennis couple Jill Leonard and Adrian O’Connor told Clare FM of how they had a smart phone, wallet, money and cards stolen as their son Kane was being born last Friday.
