An Ennis addiction counsellor claims many people are “overusing and abusing” over-the-counter medication.
It’s after the Medical Bureau of Road Safety said they’ve had people claiming they had to come off such tablets, for fear that they’d be over the legal driving limit.
New Garda roadside drugs tests were recently brought into force to crack down on people driving under the influence of illegal drugs.
