Ennis Councillors have raised concerns that two court cases could 'devastate' Council finances.

The local authority is bearing the brunt of legal fees for cases being taken in relation to casual trading laws, while it's also one of four authorities that have been selected to take part in a case regarding taxi legislation.
That's due to wrap up before the court's summer recess, but former Mayor of Ennis and Fianna Fáil Councillor Peter Considine fears local authorities will be left carrying the bill for years to come.
