Ennis Councillors Express Concern Over Vacant Businesses

A meeting of Ennis Councillors has heard that the amount of unoccupied business premises on Parnell Street in the town is "not good enough."

The Council is expecting to publish a feasability study on options to rejuvenate the area in the coming months, including a proposed roof there, but calls are being made for swift action in advance of the Fleadh in August.
