Ennis Town Councillors have paid their respects to a former Council employee who passed away suddenly last month.

Margaret Duggan, of Ballymaguigan, Ennis worked for Clare County Council for 35 years, in the areas of Human Resources, Housing and, most recently, at the offices of Ennis Town Council.
Adjourning their monthly meeting, Ennis Councillors, led by town Mayor Peter Considine described Margaret Duggan a committed and highly regarded member of staff whose death led to shock among her colleagues.
She’s survived by her husband, Liam and their three daughters.
