Ennis Councillor Fears ‘Too Many Obstacles’ Stand In Way Of Community Nursing Unit At Turnpike Site

An Ennis Councillor fears too many obstacles stand in the way of the community nursing unit going ahead at the Turnpike site.

Clare County Council has expressed ‘serious concerns’ that the €25m HSE plan for a 100 bed elderly care unit on lands at St Flannan’s College may prejudice the future expansion of the secondary school.

The local authority has told the executive it’s putting the project on hold.
