Ennis Town Council has defended it’s decision to spend 65 thousand euro on the provision of public toilets in the town.

The Council’s annual financial statement for 2012 shows it spent over 67,600 euro on maintaining the so-called superloos, even though the facilities only generated an income of 2,300 euro.
However, Ennis Town Manager Ger Dollard says it is money well spent.
