The Christmas Lights will be officially switched on at Ennis Market today.

Mayor of Ennis, Councillor Ann Norton will perform the switching on ceremony at 5 o'clock, with entertainment provided by Ennis National School and local theatrical group, Pantaloons.
At the same time, the launch of the Yellow Ribbon Project in aid of Cahercalla Hospice, a joint initiative between the Lions and Rotary Clubs, will take place.
As a result, minor traffic diversions may be in place on Lower Market Street from 4 o'clock until 5.30.
