Ennis Children’s ‘3D Tetris’ To Go On Display At County Museum

A 3D sculpture of the iconic video game Tetris, created by Ennis primary school pupils, is to go on disaplay at Clare Museum.

The artwork comprises of 30 individual cubes containing fragmented images of the children and it can be rearranged and switched around, like the game itself.

It was made by pupils of Gaelscoil Mhícil Chíosog along with their teacher Ciara Ní Chuílinn and artist David O’Rourke, as part of a new ‘Encountering the Arts Ireland and Clare Education Initiative.
