The President of Ennis Chamber insists small businesses in Clare need to provide a unique experience to shoppers in order to compete with online retail.
It comes as a new report from Ennis-based Retail Excellence has found that in the second quarter of this year, there was a 30% rise in the number of mobile browsing sessions by shoppers.
The retail lobby group says it’s a welcome move and one that should further incentivise local businesses to make the move to online.
