Ennis chamber question visa application process

Ennis Chamber of Commerce is among a number of business groups who have raised concerns about the difficulties faced by bunsiness-people in obtaining visas to work in Ireland.

The concerns have been raised in the Dail, and come as the government trialled a visa-waiver scheme for visitors from 16 countries, including China, India and Russia.

The move was designed to increase trade, and the government says an 18% increase was recorded as a result.
