Ennis Chamber President Says It’s Too Soon To Extend Hospitality Opening Hours

The President of Ennis Chamber feels it’s too soon to be looking to extend the opening hours at bars and restaurants.

Groups representing the hospitality sector will meet with Government officials today to push for later opening hours beyond the 11.30 pm curfew.

The return of live music at their premises is also a sticking point for the industry.

However, former Clare Chair of the VFI and current president of Ennis Chamber, Darragh McAllister says getting to terms with trading in the ‘new normal’ should be the priority.
