Ennis Chamber fears jobs will be put at risk if an increase in commercial rates is introduced.

Commercial rates have remained steady in Ennis over the past 5 or 6 years but with the abolition of the Town Council, there's now a disparity between the original town rate and the county council rate.
Plans for an 11 per cent increase over a two-year period, to bridge the gap, are contained in Clare County Council's draft Budget for 2016.
But Ennis Chamber President Pat Morris has told Clare FM that businesses in the town won't survive such an increase.
