The CEO of Ennis Chamber insists the ground work is being laid and workable plans will be in place for the town when outdoor dining commences next month.
Restuarants and pubs here and elsewhere will be permitted to serve outdoots from June 7th to groups of up to six people.
The current Ennis mobility plan will be in place until at least September, with part of Parnell Street to be closed to cars between 6.30pm and 11.30pm every night between June and August, as well as at weekends through to September.
CEO of Ennis Chamber, Margaret O’Brien believes the introduction of such initiatives will increase footfall in the town centre as businesses emerge from lockdown.
