Limerick Chamber has made a pre-budget submission, proposing increasing capital investment and efforts to boost employment in the area.
They believe this would be good for the region as a whole, and that Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary should work together to address regional imbalance.
Rita McInerney agrees there should be greater co-operation, but it's crucial that the investment isn't just concentrated in Limerick.
