An Ennis-based car part supplier believes Irish businesses’ preparation for Brexit is helping them survive UK import slump.
This comes as the value of exports from Ireland to Britain has increased by €400m while imports from the UK have plummeted by €500m in the last 12 months.

Exports to Great Britain were €2.3 billion last month, while imports from across the Irish Sea were only €1.7 billion in the same period.
Managing Director of Top Part Ennis, John Dillane, says that complications with UK imports means companies are looking to Europe instead.
