An Ennis car dealer is predicting that the ‘depression’ in car sales experienced in the past three years could continue in 2023.
It comes as new car registrations only rose by 0.3% in 2022, with just over 105,000 sales, according to industry figures.
However, despite this, Pierse Garage in Ennis is reporting a 30% increase in pre-orders compared to the same period last year – pointing towards a possible climb in car sales this year.
