An Ennis businessman claims more work needs to be done to improve flood defences in the town.

It comes as commercial and residential buildings in the Abbey Street area became submerged in nine inches of water overnight on Sunday as Storm Desmond swept through the county.
Water seeped through gaps in the wall as the fast-flowing River Fergus began to rise.
Brian O'Neill of The Rowan Tree says more work needs to be done to ensure homes and businesses in the area are protected during storm weather.
