Ennis Business Owner Says He Wants To Leave Town “In A Better State” Before Retiring

A long-time Ennis business owner says he wants to leave the town “in a better state” than he found it in but says this is difficult due to the ongoing public realm works.

Locals haven’t been shy in expressing their frustration with the pace at which the streetspace enhancements are being carried out in the county town, with the €11.5 million not due to conclude until late next year.

Last week, a coach driver told Clare FM of the sleep disruption he experienced while staying in Ennis due to the noise created by construction taking place outside his hotel bedroom window.
