An Ennis-headquartered advocacy organisation claims the Irish public is the biggest victim of the Government’s decision to delay the introduction of health warnings on alcohol drinks.
Cabinet has approved the deferral of health warning labels on alcohol until 2028 reportedly due to fears the advisories would make Irish products less competitive internationally.

Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Ireland has described the move as a “significant setback for public health” in the county.
