Ennis-Based Insurance Firm Urges Those Affected By Storm Debi To Lodge Claims As Soon As Possible

A Clare-based insurance company is advising people whose property or vehicles may have been damaged by Storm Debi to gather as much evidence as possible.

Over 3,300 premises here were left without power during the peak of the weather event, while for many more in the county the gale force winds caused the destruction of caravans, mobile homes, vehicles, furniture and valued possesions.

A number of areas were also affected by flood damage including Ballyvaughan, Lahinch and Liscannor.
