Ennis-Based Haulier Says Government Action Needed Now To Prevent Late Christmas Deliveries

The Ennis-based President of the Irish Roads Haulage Association says prompt Government action is needed today to prevent late Christmas deliveries.

A convoy of hauliers are descending on the capital this afternoon, to protest against rising fuel costs.

They say many smaller operators are struggling to survive due to price rises and are demanding the Government act with rebates for petrol and diesel.
