Ennis-Based Ambassador For The Shona Project Says Ireland Is Open To Embracing Transgender Identity

The Ennis-based ambassador for The Shona Project believes Ireland is an open place where transgender identity is understood and embraced.

Raevynna El Messaoudi is one of two Clare women selected from over 70 national applicants for the Alice Academy activist boot camp last month, with Quin Diabetes activist Christine Meehan the second.

Raevynna, a neuro-divergent, biracial, trans woman from South Africa, is a trans youth advocate who’s worked with Transgender Europe and the Trans Limerick Community.
