Ennis has been crowned ‘Ireland’s Tidiest Large Urban Centre’ at the SuperValu Tidy Towns awards this afternoon.
The Ennis Tidy Towns Group is to be awarded a trophy and €5,000 for their efforts.

880 entries were received ahead of the ceremony in the RDS in Dublin this afternoon.
Trim in County Meath was named Tidiest Large Town.
Now in its 64th year, the community initiative has been running since 1958.
