An Ennis actress has been nominated alongside Nicole Kidman for one of British theatre's most prestigious awards.

Denise Gough and the Australian Oscar winner are two of the five nominees in the Best Actress category for the Olivier Awards, which take place in April.
Denise is nominated for her role as an addict in Duncan MacMillan's People, Places and Things.
She has already claimed the Best Actress prize at the Critics’ Circle theatre awards for the same part.
