Ennis 2040 DAC insists an extensive public consultation process will take place regarding any future development at Abbey Street Car Park.
The special purpose vehicle of Clare County Council has moved to adress what it describes as a number of ‘misleading’ and ‘untrue’ statements put forward by local lobbyist group, Save Ennis Town.
The group comprised of residents and traders has previously stated that the designated activity company had little interest in either engaging with businesses or the people about the town’s future.

However Chief Operating Officer of Ennis 2040, Kevin Corrigan says that the public will have their say before any shovels enter the ground.
