Ennis 2021 Leaving Cert Student Insists Continuous Assessment The Only Way Forward

An Ennis student who sat the Leaving Cert earlier this year insists continuous assessment has to be the way forward for the State exam.

The National Association for Principals & Deputy Principals’ annual conference is ongoing this week, with senior cycle reform at the top of the agenda.

2018 research from the association suggests more than 8 in 10 students believe the traditional Leaving Cert is ‘not the best way to assess’ their educational achievement.
