Climate activists in Clare are concerned that this county could be disproportionately impacted if global temperatures increase by 1.5 degrees.

It’s after a new study from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change showed any such jump would cause heatwaves, severe droughts and floods to the natural world.

Governments are being called on to prioritise global warming as the report suggests the window of time to ensure a livable future is rapidly closing.
