Emergency services have been alerted to a road crash outside Corofin this morning.

It's understood two cars collided near Tierney's Garage on the main Ennis Road in the past half hour.
Two units of Clare County Fire service and Gardaí are at the scene.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area for the time being and take alternative routes where possible.
It's not known at this stage if there are any injuries.
