At around ten to two this afternoon, a unit from the Shannon Fire Brigade was dispatched to a gorse fire on Woodcock Hill.
It’s the second to hit the hill in almost as many days – emergency services also attended a fire there on Sunday, which started after a car crashed.
Elsewhere, an unoccupied house is ablaze in Doolin this afternoon, while Ennis Fire Service is at a house in Scarriff, where a fire has broken out in a back yard.
