Emergency services have been called to an incident at a hotel in Ennis this morning.
The alarm was raised just before half past six this morning, following the discovery of what Gardaí and Clare County Fire Service have described as a “hazardous substance” in the Leisure Centre at the Auburn Lodge Hotel.

Gardaí and three units of the Fire Service from Ennis remain at the scene.
It’s understood that guests have NOT been evacuated from the hotel at this time.
