Emergency services have been alerted following an oil spill in East Clare, which has led to a number of minor road crashes this morning.
Gardaí are warning of dangerous driving conditions on the Road between Sixmilebridge and the Tulla Side of Kilkishen.
A number of cars have left the road this morning though there are no reports of any major damage or injuries.

Units from Clare’s County Fire Service are en route to treat the road, while Clare County Council has also been notified.
