Warning From Clare’s Fire Service After Condition Orange Alert Issued

Clare’s Chief Fire Officer says it’s vital that people heed restrictions on uncontrolled burning, after an orange fire warning has been issued.

The alert is in place until next Tuesday, with the Department of Agriculture saying that setting fires on open ground during the public health emergency would be particularly reckless.

The Clare County Fire Service was called out to three fires yesterday, and Adrian Kelly is reiterating that calls relating to uncontrolled burning aren’t being accepted at this time.
