Two Rescued From Lough Derg After Boat Got Into Difficulty

Two people have been rescued after their boat got into difficulty in Lough Derg.

The Lough Derg RNLI was dispatched shortly after 8 o’clock last night, after a 25 foot cruiser suffered engine failure and was adrift by the Clare shore, south of Williamstown.

The lifeboat located the vessel and the crew established that both people onboard were safe and well and were wearing their lifejackets.
