A teenage boy is in a critical condition in hospital following what has been described as ‘workplace accident’ in East Clare.
Emergency services were alerted to the the incident in Killaloe yesterday morning and the teenager was treated at the scene by National Ambulance Service paramedics before being transferred to University Hospital Limerick for treatment.
The scene was sealed off to facilitate a forensic examination.
