Clare’s Chief Fire Officer Warns Of Wildfire Risk As Temperatures Continue To Rise

Clare’s Chief Fire Officer is asking landowners and members of the public not to burn items outdoors while temperatures remain high.

The current spell of weather could be officially classed as a heatwave later, as weather experts say temperatures could reach 31 degrees in parts of the country this week.

Clare Fire Service is warning that any outside burning can lead to unsafe conditions for individuals and families living nearby, particularly in rural areas.
