Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road crash in East Clare, which claimed the life of a man in his 60s.
He died after the car he was driving in left the road and hit a ditch, close to the village of Mountshannon shortly before 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon.
Another man in his 60s, who was a passenger in the car, received non-life threatening injuries in the collision.
