Eleven Clare tenancies were prevented from entering homelessness in the third quarter of the year following interventions from a national housing chairty.
Between July and September, Threshold engaged with 125 renters in this county who were citing concerns over living standards, unlawful deposit retention or the threat of eviction.

Of this cohort, 18 were issued with notices to quit, while 50% of these termination orders were ultimately found to be invalid.
Threshold Research and Policy Officer Gareth Redmond says the trend is extremely concerning.
